Activities to Celebrate Pride at Home
What is Pride Month?
Pride Month takes place in June each year and provides a great opportunity for your child to learn about diversity and inclusion. Pride Month is all about celebrating love, friendship and the LGBTQ+ community, and to learn about how far we've come in terms of the gay rights movement.
Why is it important to celebrate Pride Month?
Even if you are not a member of the LGBTQ+ community, you can still take part in Pride month celebrations. You can use it as an opportunity for your children to learn more about the movement and how to become allies.
